Whether you are here for business or pleasure, our Victorian style home is the four star Guest Lodge for you. Awake to the dawn chorus of the many birds and frog species, then lie back in an original Victorian bath, enjoying the peace and tranquility.

Every one of our 18 spacious, stylishly decorated bedrooms has its own character. Heavy, luxurious curtains and specially chosen furniture adds to the comfort of our guests. AG Vissers house (early Afrikaans poet and local doctor)
The Concentration Camp Cemetery with graves of women and children of who died during the Second War of Independence
Diepkloof Farm Museum - old restored farmhouse built in 1850
Klipkerk - 'stone church'
Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve with a wide range of plants, birds and animal species. Clearly marked self-guiding hiking trails are available. Caravan, picnic and barbeque facilities are found in all parts of the reserve
The old jail first served as a hospital and home for the underprivileged. The building has stood empty since 1963 when a new jail was built. It is now being restored. |
