We are a Three Star graded guest house, accredited by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
Accommodation
Mulbry Cottage B&B has four individually decorated and stylish rooms with a private sitting area and en-suite bathrooms. Each room has a television, hospitality tray, toiletries and soft fluffy towels.
Three of the four rooms can sleep two persons on beds that are taken good care of. Extra blankets are available as the Highveld nights can be cool. However the thatch roof makes the whole house cool in summer and warm in winter.
Breakfast and Dining
Breakfast is included in our rate and consists of a selection of coffee, tea, fruit juice, a wide range of cereals, bread and fresh fruit. In addition to this a choice of either an English breakfast or omelet will be offered.
We can also serve supper which consists of vegetables, a starch, a meat dish and salad. Supper varies everyday and needs to be booked 24 hours in advance. Lunch packs are available on request. Guests with specific dietary requirements should let us know in advance, so that we can cater for their needs.
Facilities
We have ample safe parking and a private environment. The peaceful and tranquil garden is available to the guests to relax in. At Mulbry Cottage we strive to make all our guests feel at home and to go the extra mile for and with them. All facilities and services are continually improved and we strive to treat every guest with honesty and integrity, respect and empathy. It is especially safe for the travelling business women.
Weddings
Mulbry Cottage can cater for the very small, intimate, garden wedding; however wedding guests from other venues often stay with us. Our garden can also be used for wedding photographs.
Location & Attractions
Mulbry Cottage is situated in the quiet suburb of Allen Grove, 10km from the O R Tambo International Airport and Gautrain Station which make it very convenient for our guests to get to Sandton and Rosebank within 14 minutes. It is in close proximity to shopping centres, restaurants and coffee shops. You also have easy access to all the main highways. We are also 25 km from Grand Central Airport in Midrand and about 35 minutes from Rand Airport and Lanseria Airport.
