Nestled on the banks of the Blaupan Lake, Lakeview Airport Lodge, previously Kempton Park Conference Centre has been operational for over 20 years. Over the years we have evolved, constantly improving ourselves in order to remain competitive and pride ourselves in service excellence.

We understand that within today’s hospitality industry standards have to exceed expectations and we have streamlined our conferencing and accommodation facilities accordingly whilst still remaining affordable and competitive. Our business rates as one of the top contenders in our category within the industry.

The staff at Lakeview Airport Lodge has evolved and developed with the lodge with a few additions along the way. This unique combination provides guests with an unforgettable, comfortable and for our regulars a very personal, satisfying experience.

Accommodation

Our accommodation block consists of 36 twin rooms and one single wheel-chair access room, all with en-suite bathrooms for your comfort and privacy. We also have a two and three bed roomed guest house that can accommodate two guests per room.

All the rooms have been upgraded recently and each has a 74cm television with a limited M-Net bouquet, SABC 1, 2, 3 and E-TV for your entertainment.

All of our rooms have air conditioning to cool those sultry, hot summer days and warm up those cold winter nights. Our rooms are also equipped with a complimentary coffee and tea making facility and bottled water is situated in the passages for your convenience. There are telephones in each room and we have wireless internet facilities available that can be accessed from the comfort of your own room.

Dining

Our buffet restaurant on site provides all our catering requirements and supplies sumptuous, healthy meals for all occasions. Special dietary requirements (vegetarian and Halal) can be catered for by communicating with our staff prior to arrival.

Conferences and Weddings

We cater for conferences, accommodation, team buildings, special functions and weddings and are situated in the East Rand of Gauteng.

We offer a variety of different menu choices from potjies, braais, spit braais, finger lunches to a full buffet or 3 to 5 course plated menu. We are flexible on all our menus and because we have such a large variety, almost any budget can be comfortably accommodated.

Special dietary requirements (vegetarian and Halaal) can be catered for by communicating with our coordinators prior to arrival.

We have a beautiful dining room that can accommodate up to 150 guests as well as a stunning lapa that can accommodate up to 90 guests. Our conference facility can accommodate up to 200 delegates cinema style.

Location

We are situated in close proximity to the OR Tambo International Airport and have easy access to two main highways, one of them being the R21 which links Johannesburg and Pretoria, which makes us easily accessible.

The Blaupan Lake and adjacent wetland areas in close proximity are some of the best birding areas within Gauteng.
