ACCOMMODATION
With 19 bedrooms and a Conference centre, catering for up to 38 delegates, JeanJean now is the largest 5 star graded Guesthouse & Conference Centre in Johannesburg! We charge very competitive rates, which have been drastically reduced. We offer discounted rates for large group bookings, longer stays and December holidays!
Our rooms are individually styled and all 19 rooms are tastefully furnished and come with first-class amenities including a Queen size bed & best quality bed linen, air conditioner, mini bar & refreshments, electronic safe, phone / intercom, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, international plug points, large screen satellite television, radio and alarm, workstations, internet access (Wi-fi), en-suite bathrooms (shower and bath), towels and bathrobe. An iron and ironing board are also available. Six rooms each have a private balcony / patio and one of the suites also has a Jacuzzi bath plus shower in the en-suite bathroom. Most rooms overlook the Melville Koppies, garden and surrounding parks. No smoking in the rooms.

JeanJean is well known for its exceptional breakfasts, conference lunches and dinners. We offer a unique experience to our clients. We boast about our sophisticated cooking techniques including both International and traditional South African cuisine.
The dining area has a classy and homely atmosphere. JeanJean Guesthouse & Conference Centre is the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of the Johannesburg city life.
The menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is set. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is plated and not buffet. Dinner and lunch is by appointment only. Dinners and lunches can also be ordered from a selection of restaurants in the area. Breakfast is served: Monday - Friday: 6h45 - 9h30; Saturday 7h30 - 10h00 and Sundays 7h30 - 10h00. We cater for vegetarians.

We are just minutes away from the city centre, bus stops, universities (WITS and UJ), ABSA Training Centre, the SABC, banking malls, shopping malls, Parkview Golf Course, Johannesburg Zoo, Emmarentia Dam (for canoeing or paddling), many parks, spin studios, gyms, theatres and casinos, other Northern suburbs (Sandton, Randburg, Killarney, Rosebank, Melrose Arch, Roodepoort, Cresta, Northcliff etc.), Braamfontein, Doornfontein, and major Freeways and Highways into all directions.
Melville has a lively village and vibey atmosphere. Shopping will be a pleasure here as well as in the surrounding shopping malls. Some of Johannesburgs best restaurants (50+), pubs and night venues are within walking distance. Melville Koppies nature reserve and Bird Park is virtually on our doorstep. Hike in a habitat preserved as Johannesburg was long ago. |
