DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to a place where you can relax and feel "like home"! Relax in a beautiful tropical garden situated in Waverley, Pretoria at the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountain range. Tastefully furnished, Fernhill guesthouse provides in the need for upper-class bed and breakfast accommodation in a tranquil setting privacy.
ACCOMMODATION
We offer two spacious en-suite rooms tastefully decorated and furnished with care, each with a private patio and private entrance. Each room is equipped with a desk, satellite television (DStv), fridge, coffee and tea and a hairdryer. A laundry service is available on request.
From the upper deck you have a view of a magnificent tropical garden and Pretoria. The visitor would find abundant bird life. There is BBQ facilities and safe motor vehicle parking. A swimming pool, fax and internet services are available on request.
The spacious en-suite rooms with under floor heating provide for a comfortable sitting area as well as a study area complete with a desk. Both guestrooms have a small private patio for the guest's comfort. Add to the comfort of this guesthouse with a lush garden setting with lovely palm trees and various ferns where guests can relax after a busy day.

We are ideally situated for businessmen who need accommodation during business trips in and around Pretoria and tourists who require up market accommodation in Pretoria. Both rooms are equipped with desks and other facilities that meet the specific needs of business people.
Fernhill is a 35 minutes drive from Johannesburg International Airport. CSIR, various embassies, the University of Pretoria, Union Buildings, Loftus as well as the Rosslyn, Waltloo and Silverton Industrial areas are in close proximity to Fernhill Guesthouse.
Various restaurants in close proximity to the guesthouse provide excellent meals. Fernhill Guesthouse can provide advice on restaurant and menus available in the area.
Tourist attractions for daytrips in and around Pretoria include amongst others the Pierneef Museum, Melrose House known for its excellent Victorian architecture, the Union Buildings, Sammy Marx Museum, the Austin Roberts Bird Sanctuary, National Zoological gardens and the National Botanical Garden.
Other Leisure facilities include fishing in dams around Pretoria, Sun City, Lost City and Caesar's Palace, Pilanesberg game reserve, several Golf courses and game viewing. We are en route to Kruger National Park, 1.5hr drive from Pilanesberg National Park and Sun City. |
