DESCRIPTION:
Nestled in the quiet and tranquil surroundings of Irene Village the Colonial Guest House gives you the opportunity to experience Africa at its best. We are close to shopping malls, restaurants, Irene Dairy Farm, golf courses, Super Sport Park, hospitals and airports. Overlooking the Oval, where families come together for relaxing time together, you will feel at home, away from home.
Accommodation
Our Guest House consists of sixteen tastefully decorated rooms all with en-suite bathrooms and private entrances. All rooms have satellite television, coffee and tea facilities, heating / cooling and working space for the business person. Children of all ages are welcome. We have a family room, two separate bedrooms with and inter leading door available or extra beds can be arranged for smaller children.
Facilities
There is also secure under cover parking, a private lounge, laundry service on request, swimming pool, barbeque area and for the guests not wishing to travel for a meal we also have a restaurant and bar.
Breakfast & Dining
Our affordable rates include a continental and traditional English breakfast served in the restaurant, on the patio or by the pool side. We will arrange for lunch packs and on request our Chef can treat you with a three course meal.
Conference Room
Our Conference Room is ideal if you want to break away from the busy and noisy city. We cater not only for meetings, but training, dinner parties, baby showers, kitchen teas, birthday parties and cocktail parties. Our Conference room can accommodate up to 30 delegates, depending on your seating style, and the restaurant, garden and lapa can accommodate up to 40 people.
The conference package includes the venue hire and parking, lunch for all delegates, water and mints on the tables, note pads, coffee, tea and snacks, flipcharts and pens and data projector is also available for hire. For the other functions, menu’s can be tailor made to fit your preference and budget.
Attractions
The Colonial Guest House is central to Pretoria and Johannesburg and about twenty minutes drive from O.R. Thambo International Airport, Lanseria Airport and Wonderboom Airport. It is close to Irene Golf course, Centurion Golf Estate and Super Sport Park, Coca Cola Park, Soweto Stadium, Loftus Versveld, Ellis Park Stadium, Soccer City, Nosa Training Offices and Highveld Conference Centre. We are also close to beautiful Wedding venues and churches and the Irene Dairy Farm.
Other attractions include Rietvlei Nature Reserve, The Voortrekker Monument and the Cradle of Humankind.
