Visit our newly developed exclusive guesthouse in Hartbeespoort for a break-away with a difference. Absorb the tranquil surroundings and our splendid 270° view of the Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounding mountains. Become one with nature when you watch the birds returning to Bird Island at sunset and you hear the call of the Fish Eagle.
Château la Mer is a luxury, up-market establishment, nestled in the quiet suburb of Ifafi in Hartbeespoort. The newly developed guesthouse is family owned and managed. Here we still believe in excellence through first class service. The comfort of our guests is our first priority. Our aim is to ensure a comfortable, relaxed stay for our guests, the type of visit that would make you want to return time and again. Attention to detail plays a big part in our daily operation and we take pride in our work. Relax next to our swimming pool and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin. Le Vin, our ladies bar, open during the summer months, is conveniently situated next to our swimming pool.
Accommodation
Guests can expect luxury accommodations and warm hospitality along with peace and quiet. Each room has been individually decorated and is equipped with air-conditioning, flat-screen television, mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Ample cupboard space is available in every room. Luxurious, fluffy bath towels are also provided.
Every room has sliding glass doors that provide patio access and views of either the dam or the surrounding mountains. We also have two family rooms with sleeper couches that can be opened for families with children. All our rooms are non-smoking, but guests are welcome to smoke on the patio.
Our room rate includes breakfast and can be enjoyed in our stylish, French style dining room, or, if weather permits, on the patio where you can make the most of our excellent view. Dinner is available with prior arrangement.
Conferences
We also offer a newly developed conference room that can accommodate up to 20 delegates for a day-conference. A maximum of six delegates can be accommodated on-premises for an overnight conference, while alternative accommodation can be arrangement at nearby establishments.
Château la Mer is ideally situated in close proximity to a variety activities and places of interest. Nature reserves and animal parks, crafters’ markets and shopping centers, golf courses, adventure sports and an array of restaurants are all easily accessible in the area.
The guesthouse is being developed in two phases. The first phase of development is complete. The second phase of the development is underway and will consist of a further 12 en-suite bedrooms, a restaurant and various guest lounges. |
