DESCRIPTION:
Christine and Clive would like to introduce our four star graded Guest House to you which is situated on the northern side of Boksburg, 6kms from O.R. Tambo International Airport Johannesburg and central to The East Rand Mall (3kms), Emperors Palace (4kms), Jet Park Industrial Estate (3kms), Elandsfontein Industrial Estate (6kms), Isando Industrial Estate (6kms), The Birchwood Hotel (3kms), Banks and Post Office (3kms) and many conference, shopping and entertainment center’s, Medicross (3kms)
Accommodation
We will ensure that your stay with us is extremely comfortable, our eight very spacious double bedrooms (all en suite) have been tastefully decorated with our guests comfort in mind, three queen rooms and five twin rooms with three quarter beds the room‘s are very appealing and tastefully decorated, with crisp percale linen and oh!
Sooo comfy beds with electric blanket’s and under floor heating for those chilly evenings, tea/coffee facilities with rusks and muffins, hairdryer, clock radio, 3 speed ceiling fans, laminated flooring, and double glazing, all rooms are pool facing and have selected DSTV (satellite TV) and channels TV 1,2,3 and ETV, also wireless access for those who require it, so weather you are traveling for business or pleasure we have your comfort in mind and we hope that all of this will make you want to return again and again.
Breakfast and Dining
The smell of freshly brewed coffee awaits you when you rise and you may choose a Continental or English breakfast with a variety of fresh fruit juice’s which may be taken in the dining room or on the wooden deck overlooking the garden and pool, we offer a different menu each evening for dinner, should you wish to utilize the 28 restaurants that are within five kms of the Guest House they range from British, French, Italian, Portugese and many more who are all waiting for you to taste their cuisine.
Services
We offer a laundry and dry cleaning service. Packed lunch should the guest require.
Transport and Tours
We offer a shuttle service to various destinations, OR Tambo International Airport six kms, and pre-arranged tours to Glen Afric and Hartebeespoort Market, Magaliesburg, Sun City and the Pilanesberg National Park we will also arrange Cape Town and Durban short stays, these are to name but a few and if you enjoy a game of golf, there are five four star golf courses to choose from within 10kms, Virgin Active Gym 2kms and for the ladies there are four wonderful spa’s and hair salons within two kms also shopping at the East Rand Mall.
Relaxation
Along with great hospitality, Avon Road Guest House & Tours offers its guests a landscaped garden with sparkling pool, a fabulous African thatched Pub with a log fire and braai facility.
Safety and Security
Our guests are supplied with keys and a remote control for the gate so that they have the freedom to come and go as they please when leaving our home from home safe environment, we have a full security back up should it be required and ample off road parking is available which leads to your pool facing room. |
