Ashanti Guest House is ideal for the business and leisure traveller in that it is centrally located for main tourist attractions as well as the main business centres of the area. Within a ten minute drive are the large shopping complexes of Eastgate and the East Rand Mall, Bruma Market and the East Rand Traders Market, a large number of restaurants - each offering a variety of culinary experiences as well as the Emperors Palace Casino and Entertainment Complex which has 24 hour access.
Ashanti offers easy access to all the major highways to central, north and southern Johannesburg, the Eastern parts of Johannesburg and the East Rand (Ekurhuleni).
ACCOMMODATION:
There are six luxury, comfortable, clean double/twin rooms that have been tastefully decorated. Two of the rooms on the top floor have double glass doors that open onto a small balcony on which guests can sit on hot African evenings. The view of the surrounding is especially enchanting in the evenings. One of the rooms has a private entrance with a small verandah. Guests can enjoy the garden as well as view the many birds that are encouraged to visit.
Each room has a colour TV, a safety deposit facility for guest valuables, a fan, heater and hospitality tray for in-room tea/coffee making. Quality guest amenities are provided daily.
BREAKFAST:
The full breakfast allows for guest selection from a variety of items. There is a cold buffet that includes cereals, muesli, yoghurt and fruit juice. A variety of herbal/fruit teas as well as filter and decaffeinated coffee is available. Guests have choices such as bacon, savoury mince or minute steak, various egg dishes including omelettes, mushrooms and tomato. Orders are ready at the time stated so there is no waiting time. Ideal for the busy time-constrained guest.
FACILITIES & SERVICEs:
Excellent security for guests, vehicles and belongings. Once checked-in guests have 24 hour access. Same day laundry service. Assistance can be provided on things to do and see in area and South Africa. Lunches and dinners can be ordered in by prior arrangement. Airport transfers arranged with an outside transfer company. Guests pay the driver directly in SA currency. |
