The Loerie Room
Is a tastefully furnished double room with separate private full bathroom. It has a bay window overlooking 1 300m2 of beautiful garden. Sink into luxurious crisp white bed linen after a hard day’s work and enjoy full-bouquet DSTV or just soak in the peace and quiet with a good book.

LEISURE
Guests who wish to walk or jog can do so safely in the village, at any time of day. The pool is also available as well as the trampoline. The garden is a beautiful place for relaxation and for enjoying the bird life, with pathways winding through the vegetation. Or you can sit on the patio, experience the approaching evening and be blessed by the surroundings.
LOCATION AND ACCESS
The location is ideal for access to all parts of Gauteng, being at the confluence of five major highways, giving easy access to central Pretoria, Midrand, central Johannesburg, Sandton and the East and West Rand. OR Tambo airport is only 30 minutes away and Lanseria 40 minutes. The Gautrain station is five minutes away.
Attractions in the immediate vicinity include several major shopping centres, Super Sport Park cricket stadium, Loftus Versveld rugby stadium, a Virgin Active Gym, several golf clubs, a golf driving range and a number of great restaurants. The Irene Dairy (a working dairy farm with a superb coffee shop, restaurant and delicatessen) adjoins Irene, and there is also an excellent Italian restaurant just around the corner. The well-known Irene Market is held twice a month on a Saturday at nearby Smuts farm. The farm, the original home of Jan Smuts, is itself also a historical monument, open to the public.
SECURITY
Irene is boomed and fenced, with security patrols. In addition, Acorn Place’s security system is linked to an armed response unit operating within the village. |
