A1 Airport Lodge is a guesthouse situated in a quiet neighborhood, Aston Manor, Kempton Park. A mere 10 minute drive North from of the O.R. Tambo International Airport, makes it accessible from major highways. We are ideally situated for the business traveler and holiday traveler alike as it is so close to the international airport.
The guesthouse is situated a mere 2 minutes from most public amenities such as restaurants, hospitals, post offices, pubs and supermarkets - a quick drive or a brisk walk. We are situated between 15 and 35 kilometers from bigger shopping malls - East Rand Mall, Eastgate, as well Casino’s, like Emperor’s Palace and Monte Casino. The guesthouse is also situated between 35 to 50 kilometers from major cities, like Johannesburg and Pretoria.
Accommodation
This newly renovated guesthouse provides accommodation to international, corporate and business travelers and families. The guesthouse hosts 15 luxurious and spacious en-suite rooms equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, microwaves, bar fridges and televisions with all major South African channels as well as Satellite channels are provided. Wall mounted fans are available for the hot African summers.
For the winter months we supply extra thick, comfortable blankets. Freshly washed and crisply ironed linen is provided in each room, as well as bath sheets and hand towels for your comfort. Essential guest amenities like shower gel, shampoo and body lotion are also provided for your comfort.
Services & Facilities
Housekeeping is done everyday and your every need will be tended too. Workstations have also been placed in the rooms for your convenience. Hair-dryers irons and ironing boards can be provided on request. We also have an on-site laundry service for guests. Children can play on a well maintained lawn and tennis court next to the guesthouse can keep you entertained.
Each room has its own entrance as well as its own secure parking bay. Each room is equipped with its own alarm system and the property is fully walled, electrical fencing as well as 24 hour armed response. So not only did we look at your comfort, we also took in consideration, your safety.
Breakfast and Dining
We have a beautiful braai or barbeque area, where guests can cook their own meat, or we can assist, or where they can just sit and relax and enjoy the company of other guests or friends. A continental breakfast is placed in your room on arrival for your convenience, however full English breakfast can be served on request, in your room. We can also provide dinner when notified in advance, at an extra charge.
Services and Facilities
Airport Pick up is included in the room rate, but there is a nominal charge for the return. All other shuttling or transport can be provided with prior arrangement with management. Tours can be arranged to special areas, such as Gold Reef City, The Apartheid Museum, Soweto, Lesedi Cultural Village as well as the world heritage site - The Cradle of Humankind.
