DESCRIPTION:
Tintswalo at Waterfall is an intimate boutique hotel offering unparalleled cuisine, exceptional luxury and professional Tintswalo service standards. Positioned within the secure 230ha Waterfall Equestrian Estate, less than thirty minutes drive from OR Tambo International airport, twenty minutes from Sandton Centre and fifteen minutes from Midrand.
This boutique destination features spectacular 360°views and is designed as an elegant stable with thick stone clad walls, double volume spaces and heavy bolted timber roof trusses. Looking out over the lush polo fields, the estate dam and the Magaliesburg Mountains.
Accommodation
Sixteen spacious suites, individually decorated to the colours and characteristics of specific horse breeds offer en-suite bathrooms and views of either the dam or polo fields, leading onto a quaint balcony. Room amenities include under floor heating, full mini bar, television, separate toilet, double vanity, internet connection, heated towel rail and up market toiletries.
Dining
The executive chef Martin Greyling is available to discuss any special menu requirements. Tintswalo offers an al la carte menu for all individual guests and set menu's for all group bookings. For all boardroom and conference bookings they have a five day menu (Monday to Friday) set buffet menu.
Conferences
Boardrooms include three exclusive rooms, Astique, Bastique and Camargue, accommodating small executive groups. The boardroom facilities cater for groups up to 45, an ideal “out of town” location for seminars, corporate breakaways and executive brain storming sessions. The hotel is a superb choice for special occasion events as guests have the choice to be flown in by helicopter.
Weddings
The hotel and its magnificent grounds is a unique venue for any special occasion, from a private dinner for two, intimate cellar dinner , gala evening or wedding in Gauteng, the co-coordinators are there to work closely with you to ensure that all arrangements are done in accordance with your wishes. The team will go the extra mile, to take as much as possible off your hands, so that you may enjoy a stress free occasion or function.
The Spa
The 'vital source spa' is situated on the second level of the hotel just above the entrance hall. It is perfect for an added activity for conference delegates to end off a busy meeting or as a pampering option for any spouses. Specialised treatments using Dermalogica and Mary Cohr products have been developed providing a unique spa menu with a variety of treatments to choose from. |
