Le Petit Fillan Guesthouse is a 4 star Tourism Graded establishment and offers discerning guests easy, almost traffic free access to the all the major business areas in Sandton. The elegant and beautifully decorated house was recently opened as a luxury guesthouse and given a French name as the French school Ecole Jules Verne is situated just behind the guesthouse and all the suites have French names.
Its understated grace meets contemporary - classical glamour; from the groomed indigenous gardens filled with bird life and outdoor swimming pool, to the well appointed interior which boasts six plush en suite rooms, an elegant library, bar and very comfortable lounge with a suburb viewing deck with views across the Northern Suburbs of Gauteng.

The glamorous suites have all being individually decorated and imbued with a unique and understated elegance, together with lush contemporary style and comfort. Attention to detail is the order of the day with each room equipped with beautiful en suite bathrooms, and all the comforts for the guests stay at Le Petit Fillan.
Charles De Gaulle suite
This suite has a small lounge area where one can relax after a hard day is fitted with a Queen sized bed, the bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. The suite has full DSTV bouquet, HDTV flat screen television, an entrance to a private garden, unlimited WiFi access and a telephone with reasonable call out rates. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling/ heating system.
Moulin Rouge suite
This suite has a Queen sized bed with a spacious bathroom and Jacuzzi bath. The suite faces the pool area and patio, but does have access to the garden through its own entrance. The suite is also fitted out with full DSTV bouquet, HDTV flat screen television, WiFi access and a telephone with reasonable call out rates. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling / heating system.
Edith Piaff suite
The above suite has a Queen sized bed with a spacious bathroom and Jacuzzi bath. The suite faces the pool area and patio and has access to the garden. There is a private garden off the bathroom area. The suite is fitted out with full DSTV bouquet, HDTV flat screen television, WiFi access and a telephone with reasonable call out rates. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling/ heating system.
Le Jardin suite
This suite has a Queen sized bed with an entrance to a private garden. The bathroom in this suite has a shower. The suite is also fitted out with WiFi access, full DSTV bouquet, HDTV flat screen television and a telephone with reasonable call out rates. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling/ heating system.
St. Tropez suite
The above suite has two 3/4 extra length beds which can be turned into a King sized bed if needed. There is an entrance to a private garden and the bathroom area consists of a shower. The suite also has full DSTV bouquet, HDTV flat screen television and a telephone with reasonable call out rates and WiFi access. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling/ heating system.
St. Michelle suite
This suite has two 3/4 extra length beds which can be turned into a King size bed if needed. There is no private garden, but it does have a view of the garden with an open door access. The suite has full DSTV bouquet, WiFi access, HDTV flat screen television and a telephone with reasonable call out rates. The bathroom area of this suite boasts a shower. The room is also equipped with an air conditioning cooling/ heating system.
Additional Facilities
The guesthouse boasts a swimming pool and braai area off the undercover patio.
History
Le Petit Fillan is a tranquil haven in the centre of Sandton but it was once part of three large farms in the area owned by the Gilfillian family who were dairy farmers and who supplied their milk and cream to the locals. The original farmhouse still exists around the corner in Springhill Road in Benmore.
Le Petit Fillan was the name given to the smallholdings in the Sandton Magisterial district which is between Parkmore and Morningside. |
