Conveniently situated on the Randjesfontein Estate in the heart of Midrand, Johannesburg – By Bush Telegraph Lodge will certainly tick all the boxes when it comes to meeting your personal accommodation requirements whether you are here on business or leisure or both.

We offer you a full service Lodge with comfort, convenience and enjoyment. Our aim is to encourage you to stay in and take pleasure in the full range of our hospitality. Business associates and friends are invited to join you for the evening. Should your visit be of a more leisurely nature you might enjoy a relaxed walk or jog on the safe tranquil roads or scenic wooded bridle paths.

Accommodation

Beautifully appointed spacious rooms in the style of the master buildings, luxurious full en-suite bathrooms, king size beds with quality linen, lots of fresh towels, complimentary hospitality tray to spoil you. Additional services: turn down service, electric blankets and heaters in winter – even hot water bottles, hair dryer, safe, complimentary Wi-Fi, TV and DVD player – we have a large DVD collection including many of the classic movies.

Corporate Suites:
These suites are a bit smaller and some share bathrooms, some have showers only (no bath). We have 3 of these on our property.

Deluxe Suites:
These suites are much bigger with en-suite bathrooms. We have 7 of these on our property.

Breakfast and Dining

We serve a full breakfast which includes fruit, cereals, muffins and scones, toast, fruit juice, tea and coffee and followed by a hot English breakfast cooked to order.

Bar snacks are served every evening in our cosy Railway-Sleeper Pub. From sun-downer to nightcap, you will be able to enjoy your favourite beverage in a great atmosphere. We also have an interesting medley of local wines to complement your dining experience.

Choose from the range of dishes on our appealing set three-course dinner menus. Lunches can be catered for on request. Angela and Dominique are part of the innovative To a Turn Caterers founding family and worked in the business since their early teens. You may certainly expect to see the original signature dish of “Spit Roasted Lamb and Baby Potatoes & Onions” appearing on the menu. With advance notice, special dietary requirements can be catered for. Room service is also available at kitchen opening hours.

Indulge yourself in a three course dinner served in our restaurant. A pleasant alternative to dining indoors, is an al fresco dining experience in our sheltered courtyards or decks. With three viewing decks from which to choose, you can enjoy sun-downers or romantic dinners under the stars. A great spot for avid bird-watchers and on a lucky evening, you may even catch a glimpse of a Spotted Eagle owl. A covered patio area is available for smokers.

Services and Facilities

Our beautiful azure pool and terracotta flag-stoned paving surround is perfect for soaking up the sun and letting go of life's daily worries.

Secure parking is available with porters on stand by to help you with your luggage. Transfers to and from the airport, to and from the Midrand Gautrain Station, shuttle service for business, sightseeing and shopping trips can be all arranged.

A full laundry service is available for your convenience.
